CTO regime reintroduced in Sunzha District of Ingushetia

The counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime has been announced in three villages of the Sunzha District of Ingushetia - Alkhasty, Arshty and Dattykh - after information was received that militants' groupings could hide there.

The CTO zone is blocked by internal troop units of Russian MIA in Ingushetia and MIA of Ingushetia. The "Infox.ru" Agency writes that during CTO travel of persons and traffic will be restricted in the zone; and all the persons staying within will be examined and searched.

The Russian News Service reports that the searched militants were involved in especially grave crimes; they planned to commit a number of terror acts in the territory of the republic. So far, there is no data that any of the militants have been found.
