Activists in Kalmykia describe practice of police applying law on discrediting armed forces
In Kalmykia, two residents were fined 30,000 roubles each under the new law on discrediting the armed forces. The police also drew up protocols under the above law against four activists, including the editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Sovremennaya Kalmykia’ (Modern Kalmykia), who posted a video on YouTube several days before the new law went into effect.

“Novaya Gazeta” suspends its activities
Today, after having received a warning from the “Roskomnadzor” (the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media), the newspaper “Novaya Gazeta” has announced the suspension of its publication until the end of the special military operation in Ukraine. Armenia’s MFA requests an investigation into actions of Russian peacekeepers
Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia has announced that the Azerbaijani troops are still present in the zone of responsibility of Russian peacekeepers. Two wounded Karabakh militaries brought to Yerevan
Two servicemen, who received most severe wounds during the shelling from the Azerbaijan, have been sent to the capital of Armenia, Gegam Stepanyan, the Nagorno-Karabakh Ombudsperson, has informed. The health condition of the remaining 12 wounded persons causes no doctors' concern, he specified.

Chechnya is outsider in wages of residents of small towns and medium-sized cities
On the average, residents of small towns and medium-sized towns in Chechnya received 23,900 roubles per month in 2021; the ratio of these wages to the cost of the minimum set of goods and services is 1.43. A similar picture is in Kabardino-Balkaria, Ingushetia, Dagestan and Karachay-Cherkessia.

Baku explains termination of gas supply to Nagorno-Karabakh by repair works
