"The court established that the defendant (...) personally and through trusted individuals participated in the management of organizations engaged in entrepreneurial activities, providing them with advantages and protection," the statement said.

By the court's decision, property acquired by the defendants as a result of "committing corrupt acts" was transferred to the revenue of the Russian Federation, the press service clarified.

This concerns the former head of the Kochubeevsky district, Alexey Klevtsov. Land plots, apartments, agricultural machinery, and shares were seized from him, his relatives, and acquaintances. Last year, Klevtsov was detained and subsequently arrested on charges of fraud in the execution of a municipal contract for the reconstruction of a sports complex, reports Interfax, citing a source in law enforcement agencies.

The press service of the FSB for Stavropol informed that the defendant concluded a municipal contract on behalf of the administration with a contractor for the reconstruction of the sports complex, with a total value of over 512 million rubles. As a result, the contractor was paid for work that was essentially not performed. The damage to the regional budget was estimated at over 118 million rubles.
