The state of pedestrian infrastructure in Krasnodar has given rise to criticism of officials.

Children from the village near the Kopansky farm have to walk to school along a busy highway without a sidewalk and lighting, a local resident complained on Telegram. Other residents, commenting on her complaint, criticized officials for the lack of a safe pedestrian road and pointed out that such problems in Krasnodar remain unresolved for years.

One of the residents of the village near the Kopansky farm in Krasnodar recorded a video complaining about the lack of a sidewalk and lighting on the road from the village to the farm. The video was published on September 20 by the Telegram channel "Krasnodar | Teletype". According to the resident, requests from residents to build sidewalks and install lighting are redirected from one agency to another, while children are forced to walk on the roadway. The village has about 300 houses, including families with many children and families of soldiers participating in the special military operation (SMO).

The village is about two years old, but there is still no sidewalk or lighting on the way to the Kopansky farm, where the school and other infrastructure are located, the woman said. "To get to school, children have to walk right along the busy federal highway. A mother with a stroller, a child, a schoolboy, an elderly person – they all walk along the edge, in the dark, every evening. Because there is simply no other way," she said.

Especially dangerous, the resident noted, is the route for schoolchildren in the second shift, who return home already in the dark. According to her, residents have asked representatives of the authorities to come and assess the situation on the spot, but the problem has not been resolved in two years. "One day this could end in tragedy. Is it only she who can change something?" the resident said.

She called for the installation of guardrails, road signs, and a speed control camera on the road until the issue of building a sidewalk and lighting is resolved.

This video on the Telegram channel "Krasnodar | Teletype", which has about 125.7 thousand subscribers, had about 5.4 thousand views and 18 comments as of 07:40 MSK on September 22.

Commentators criticized the authorities for the lack of sidewalks and lighting and the delay in solving the problem. "So, write in four years. By the next elections, maybe the governor will consider your issue," Roman sarcastically remarked.

Other participants in the discussion considered the residents' expectations justified and pointed out the delay in solving infrastructure problems.
