As informed by "Caucasian Knot", some residents of Dagestan do not intend to participate in the voting due to distrust of the candidates and the election results, while a budget sector employee complained about the leadership's demand to support a specific party.

Aminat, an employee of one of the ministries, told a correspondent of "Caucasian Knot" that the agency's employees were informed about the desirability of voting for representatives of "a specific party." "I will go to vote. I have no preferences for any of the candidates; I know nothing about their benefits to people and previous activities. Personally, I am concerned about power outages, the overall state of housing and communal services, and rising public transport fares," Aminat believes.

Indira, a kindergarten worker, does not plan to go to the elections, although the leadership urged her to "go and vote for a specific party." "What have the deputies of the People's Assembly and the deputies from Dagestan in the State Duma done for the people after working for 5 years? Now they have hung banners with their slogans, but no one knows about their merits. I am concerned about low salaries, rising prices, and constant power and water outages. No candidate is saying who and how will solve these problems," Indira said.

Abdulnasir, a teacher at one of the schools, believes that the passivity of voters who do not want to go to the elections will lead to nothing good. "I will go and vote for one of the parties. If we sit at home and do nothing, how will we change life for the better?" says the educator. He agrees with the opinions of his fellow countrymen who consider the current deputies and candidates for deputies to be passive. Among the problems that concern him most, he mentioned the state of housing and communal services and rising fuel prices.

Ziyaudin, a student from Makhachkala, said that he had not received instructions to vote for a specific party, but there was a request from the university leadership to participate in the voting. "This is apparently related to ensuring high turnout. I don't know who to vote for; I will choose some random candidate," Ziyaudin said.

Ismail, an employee of a budget enterprise in Makhachkala, said that he would go to the elections and vote for one of the "young parties."
"At least they speak out and present their program. I look at the banners of candidates from one of the parties and see faces that have been sitting in the People's Assembly for 2-3 terms, but what have they done for the people? At least for decency, they should have reported. Among the main problems that need to be solved are the state of housing and communal services, rising fuel prices, and low salaries," the man said.

It should be noted that low public activity among election participants was also observed in Dagestan during the previous election campaign.
