A fighter from Kabardino-Balkaria killed in Ukraine

Alan Kushkhov was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have acknowledged at least 471 combatants from Kabardino-Balkaria killed there.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by August 29, officials and security forces officially recognized at least 4798 fighters from the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District killed in Ukraine, including 469 from Kabardino-Balkaria.

A stand dedicated to graduate Alan Kushkhov, who was killed in a military operation, was opened at a school in Nartkala, reported the "Defenders of the Fatherland. KBR" fund on their Telegram channel.

Details of the military's biography and death were not provided in the fund's message.

Authorities recognized at least 9650 fighters from southern Russia killed in Ukraine

At least 4798 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4852 military personnel from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the special operation in Ukraine.

Thus, at least 471 fighters from Kabardino-Balkaria have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" knows the names of 458 of them, and the deaths of another 13 became known from the report of the republic's authorities on payments to the families of those killed in 2022.
