Krasnodar residents complained about extortion in schools.

One of the residents of Krasnodar complained about regular collections of money at school, including for decorations and equipment. Other residents, commenting on his complaint in Telegram, shared about collections in other schools. They urged parents of students to contact the prosecutor's office.

A parent of a school student from Krasnodar complained about collections for decorating the school for holidays, cameras, split systems, and other needs. According to the author of the complaint, parents are asked to make payments as voluntary donations.

"The third line, which the children do not attend, but all classes contribute to the decoration, and this happens every holiday, not just on September 1. The eternal "buy-bring" – for cameras, splits, etc. Moreover, they force parents to register it as a voluntary donation," the complaint published today in the Telegram channel "Krasnodar | Teletype" states.

A resident of Krasnodar also stated that attending visiting theaters at school costing 450 rubles is mandatory, and one can only refuse labor practice after paying a "membership fee."

Commenters, identifying themselves as residents of Krasnodar, shared about additional expenses in local schools. "To make repairs in the classroom, change desks, buy splits (or repair the existing ones), buy curtains, and a whole wagon of various wishes," noted Sanya.

"This year, there is also mandatory meals for 4000, refusal is only possible with a doctor's note. Is this legal too?" asked Natalia.

"Yes, there are extortions, but now it’s voluntary-coercive – it’s registered as: a request from parents to accept a donation and sign the corresponding form. It turns out, you don’t want to contribute, but you are very much asked," she added.

Other commenters urged parents to file complaints with the education authorities and the prosecutor's office. "You need to complain to the city education department, or whatever it’s called now. Extortion is prohibited," noted Valery.

"I don’t understand: the state pays for all this, or do the school directors pocket everything? Then we should write to the prosecutor's office, give them a reason now – they will close it immediately," believes user Low kick.

"Why are you complaining here? Go and write a complaint about the extortion. Here, anyone can disperse the air," wrote a user with the nickname Inkognito.

As of 13:15 MSK, there are no comments regarding the complaints of Krasnodar residents about extortion in schools on the website of the Krasnodar administration and the Krasnodar education department website.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that parents of schoolchildren in the Krasnodar region periodically complain about extortion in schools.
