A resident of Krasnodar publicly apologized for the incident with the toy gun.

The police of Krasnodar published a video in which a local resident publicly apologized for displaying a toy gun from the window of a car.

The video of the local resident's apology was published on the Krasnodar police's Telegram channel on August 17.

The footage shows a young man standing in a corridor. In the background, there is a stand with the inscription "Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory".

"I was driving a Nissan Almera. I jokingly stuck out a toy gun. I had no malicious intent, we were just hanging out with friends. This will not happen again! I apologize to everyone I scared or upset," he said in the video.

"The Caucasian Knot" also reported that residents of Krasnodar periodically make public apologies for various offenses and violations. For instance, on June 15, two residents of Krasnodar publicly apologized for posing for a camera against the backdrop of a local church after being detained by security forces due to criticism online.

Earlier, the police of Krasnodar published a video in which a 35-year-old resident of Chelyabinsk publicly apologized for stealing a bicycle.
