A resident of Kuban has been sentenced to a long term for passing data about the army.

A resident of the Krasnodar region will spend 21 years in a correctional facility and a strict regime colony for passing information about the Armed Forces' units to representatives of the Legion "Freedom of Russia"*.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the court sentenced Evgeny Kalganov to 16 years in prison for 15 money transfers to the bank details of representatives of the Legion "Freedom of Russia"*.

The Southern District Military Court sentenced a Kuban resident to 21 years in prison for providing information about the deployment of army units in the Rostov region to the organization "Legion "Freedom of Russia", reported Kommersant, citing the FSB of the Krasnodar region.

The convicted person is charged under articles on treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code) and participation in the activities of a terrorist organization (Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code). According to the court's decision, the first four years of the 21-year sentence will be served in prison, RIA Novosti clarifies. At the same time, the name of the convicted person and the date of the court are not disclosed.

Recall that the Southern District Military Court sentenced Evgeny Chernyshov, a resident of Novorossiysk, to 22 years in a strict regime for being found guilty of cooperating with the Legion "Freedom of Russia"*.
