Novorossiysk faced a lack of electricity and water after the drone attack.

After the drone attack in Novorossiysk, dozens of houses were damaged, a bridge collapsed, and electricity and water were partially cut off. Social media users demanded that water be provided first.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", last night during the drone attack on the Krasnodar region, an eight-year-old child and a resident of the Volna village in the Temryuk district were killed. In Novorossiysk hospitals, 12 people are being treated as a result of the night drone attack, and another seven received outpatient medical assistance. In Anapa, two injured refused hospitalization.

Water and electricity supply is limited after the drone attack

In Novorossiysk, in addition to residential buildings, the city infrastructure was damaged. The roadway on Magistralnaya Street is damaged, and traffic is currently blocked. The head of the municipality, Andrey Kravchenko, assured that access would be fully restored by the end of the day. The water supply system in the city was also damaged. Restoration work has been partially completed. During the repair, water delivery has been organized for residents. Water supply should be fully restored within a day, the city administration reports.

The Novorossiysk MTS reported that electricity supply has been restored at several addresses.

"However, repair work is still not completed in several areas. They will continue in the morning — this is due to safety requirements, as damage has been recorded on the overhead power line," the authorities reported.

Also, due to the drone attack, an overpass on Magistralnaya Street collapsed. In the video published by the city authorities, rescuers are dismantling large fragments of the collapsed structure.

"Specialists dismantled the collapsed gallery: a section about 50 meters long was sawed and cut into pieces. Heavy-duty equipment was used to remove the fragments," the city administration writes.

Currently, traffic on Magistralnaya Street is operating normally, access is free and safe, the authorities informed.

The authorities organized inspections of damaged houses

In the Eastern district, where the most houses were damaged, inspections are ongoing. 34 private houses were inspected, of which six are almost completely destroyed. Six apartment buildings and 280 apartments were also inspected. In the Central district, 24 applications were received - 9 private houses and 13 apartment buildings, 15 apartments. The main damage consists of broken windows. Six applications are still in progress.

In the Primorsky district, two apartment buildings and 28 apartments were damaged, one was completely destroyed, and in the others, windows, doors, and walls were damaged. 22 private houses were partially damaged. Three objects remain to be inspected.

In the Southern district, 9 apartments in 8 apartment buildings were damaged. One apartment remains under the commission's review, the mayor of the city, Andrey Kravchenko, reported following the inspections of the damaged houses.

Commentators urged to restore water supply as soon as possible

"This is all good. Where is the water?" wrote Andrey in the TG channel "Novorossiysk Life".
