A fire in the forest occurred during a drone attack on the Rostov region.

In the Sholokhovsky district, a forest floor caught fire due to the fall of drone debris; the fire has been extinguished.

According to the governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusary, last night air defense forces destroyed more than 35 drones in Taganrog, the Taganrog Bay, and in seven districts. The drone attacks targeted the Azov, Matveyevo-Kurgansky, Neklinovsky, Millerovsky, Verkhnedonskoy, Tselinsky, and Chertkovsky districts.

"In the Sholokhovsky district, as a result of the fall of UAV debris, a forest floor caught fire. There are no casualties. The fire has been completely extinguished," Slyusary wrote on his Telegram channel.

"The Caucasian Knot" also reported that the Rostov region is regularly subjected to drone attacks. For instance, on July 19, in the Krasnosulinsky district, wheat in a field caught fire due to the fall of drone debris, and the fire was extinguished. On July 8, during a drone attack on vessels in the Taganrog Bay, two people were injured, and on July 9, during a drone attack, two tankers caught fire.

Against the backdrop of drone attacks on oil refineries (ORFs), including those located in southern Russia, a fuel problem has arisen. Over the past two days, the upper price limit for fuel in Rostov-on-Don has noticeably increased. The maximum price for gasoline grades AI-92 and AI-95 at gas stations has increased by about a third, while diesel fuel has risen by more than 20 percent.
