Against the backdrop of the fuel crisis, the head of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov, urged the residents of the republic to refrain from using personal vehicles.

The head of the republic, Murat Kumpilov, stated that fuel supplies to the region are being carried out in a normal mode, reserves are at a standard level, there are no grounds for disruptions, but there is a surge in demand.

According to Kumpilov, giving up personal transport will help reduce the load on gas stations and stabilize the situation with fuel availability. He added that priority in the supply of fuel and lubricants is given to emergency services.

Additionally, the head of Adygea noted that social institutions are recommended to use diesel-powered transport whenever possible to save gasoline, and the use of official transport will be minimized. He also instructed to ensure the uninterrupted operation of public transport. "The situation is temporary. I am confident that through our joint efforts we can stabilize the situation and ensure reliable fuel supply to the region," Kumpilov added. Earlier, with a similar appeal to the residents of Krasnodar, the mayor of the city, Evgeny Naumov, addressed them, urging them to switch to trams and trolleybuses. Krasnodar residents, commenting on his post in Telegram, stated that they need to get to work on time and pointed out the poor condition of public transport.
