As reported by "Caucasian Knot", as of June 26, the authorities and law enforcement agencies have officially recognized that at least 2021 fighters from Dagestan have been killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

In the military operation in Ukraine, serviceman Mavludin Kidirnabiev was killed. In his honor, a memorial plaque has been installed at Gymnasium No. 18 in Derbent. Kidirnabiev is a holder of the Courage Order, the city administration reported on its website.
