As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on April 26, due to avalanche danger, the Garabashi-Mir and Bashtala-Chiran ski slopes on Elbrus were closed to skiing. They reopened later that day.
The Garabashi-Mir ski slope at Elbrus is closed to skiing today, the resort administration reported on its Telegram channel.
The Mir-Krugozor ski slope, as well as the Azau-Krugozor, Krugozor-Mir, Mir-Garabashi, Mir-2-Bashtala, and Bashtala-Chiran cable cars, are open from 9:00 a.m. Moscow time, according to the Elbrus administration.
According to the Caucasian Knot weather service, light rain is expected today in Tyrnyauz (the administrative center of the Elbrus district) with an air temperature of 11 degrees Celsius.
