A fighter from South Ossetia was killed in Ukraine.

The funeral of Ramaz Eldzarov, killed in the SVO zone, took place in Tskhinvali. At least 52 combatants from South Ossetia have been killed in fighting in Ukraine.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," Akhsar Dzhioyev was buried in Tskhinvali on April 21, becoming at least the 51st combatant from South Ossetia killed in the fighting in Ukraine.

Ramaz Eldzarov, call sign "Avgan," who was killed in the special military operation zone, was buried in Tskhinvali on April 22, the state news agency "Res" reports.

Eldzarov was 36 years old and is survived by three children. He was awarded the "Defender of the Fatherland" medal (posthumously). The republic's leadership, led by First Deputy Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhioyev, attended the funeral.

Thus, at least 52 fighters from South Ossetia have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
