Two oil spills were recorded after a drone attack in Tuapse.

The fire at the Tuapse offshore oil terminal continues.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," last night in the Tuapse seaport, a man was killed in a drone attack, and another was injured. The drone strike damaged transport infrastructure at the seaport.

On April 19, an oil slick was recorded in a satellite image one and a half miles off the port of Tuapse. This is the result of a drone attack carried out on the night of April 16, which damaged the marine terminal's infrastructure. The contaminated area covers 10,000 square meters, according to a message today on the Krasnodar Krai Operational Headquarters Telegram channel. Six high-speed boats and oil skimmers are being deployed to clean up the mess.

Meanwhile, the operational headquarters reports the containment of an oil spill in the Tuapse River, which was caused by a fire at the marine terminal on the night of the attack on April 16. "750 meters of booms and five special collection devices have been installed, and an oil trap has been set up," the statement reads.

Regarding the ongoing fire at the Tuapse offshore oil terminal, two fire trains have been deployed to extinguish it. The task force reports that it has not detected any elevated concentrations of harmful substances in the air.

As a reminder, in September 2025, a ban was imposed in the Krasnodar Krai on the dissemination of information about drone attacks and their consequences, as well as on the filming of air defense systems, military installations, and critical infrastructure. In December 2025, Kuban authorities introduced fines for filming aerial attacks and air defense operations. A corresponding draft law from the regional legislative assembly was published on the "Caucasian Knot."
