A resident of Ingushetia is suspected of inciting terrorism.

Security officials detained a 43-year-old resident of the village of Kantyshevo for justifying the actions of militants killed in Chechnya during an attempt on the lives of law enforcement officers.

As reported by "Kavkazsky Uzel", on February 6, the Rosgvardia Directorate for the North Caucasus reported that five local residents suspected of calling for terrorist activity were detained in several districts of Ingushetia.

According to security officials, the 43-year-old unemployed resident of the rural settlement of Kantyshevo posted a series of comments on his account on a popular instant messenger, the newspaper "Ingushetia" reported today, citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the republic.
