Six fighters from the Volgograd region were killed in combat.

Authority representatives presented awards to the relatives of six soldiers from the Danilovsky district killed in combat operations in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 1,673 soldiers from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed in it.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by February 6, at least 1,667 soldiers from the Volgograd region were officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

At least 4,229 soldiers from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4,373 from the Southern Federal District have been recognized by authorities and security forces as killed during the military operation in Ukraine.

On February 4, the Danilovsky District administration presented awards to the families of six servicemen killed in the military operation, the district administration reported on its Telegram channel.

The publication names Evgeny Kholov, Vladimir Elagin, and Evgeny Miklashevsky, Yakov Bezrukov, Ivan Boyko, and Andrey Chekunov.

Thus, at least 1,673 soldiers from the Volgograd Region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

"Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation. The list was compiled based on data officially released by government officials and law enforcement agencies, according to the Caucasian Knot report "NVO Statistics: Losses Mount for Southern Russia."
