Four soldiers from the Volgograd region were declared killed in the SVO.

Vladislav Butenko, Faridun Tokhirov, Ivan Glukhov and Yuriy Chernenko were killed in combat in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 1,657 soldiers from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed in it.

At least 4,213 soldiers from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4,344 from the Southern Federal District have been recognized by authorities and security forces as killed during the military operation in Ukraine.

The head of the Leninsky District of the Volgograd Region reported on his Telegram channel that the Orders of Courage were handed over to the relatives of four servicemen killed in the military operation.

"State awards were handed over to the relatives of Private Vladislav Aleksandrovich Butenko, Private "Tohirov Faridun Khisainovich, Private Ivan Nikolaevich Glukhov, and Private Yuri Nikolaevich Chernenko," the publication states.

Thus, at least 1,657 soldiers from the Volgograd Region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.
