As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," on January 14, an aerial attack caused fires in homes and at an industrial facility in Rostov-on-Don. One person died and four, including a four-year-old child, were injured and were hospitalized.

In the Rostov Region, drone strikes were recorded in Taganrog, Kamensk, Donetsk, the Sovetsky rural district, and the Millerovsky district. "No one was injured. "There were no reports of damage on the ground," regional governor Yuri Slyusar wrote on his Telegram channel.

Over the past night, 34 Ukrainian drones were shot down over Russian regions, most of them over the Rostov Region, TASS quotes the Defense Ministry as saying.

A kindergarten was damaged in the Rostov Region

Earlier, during the day on January 14, drones were fired in the Azovsky District of the Rostov Region, as well as in Rostov-on-Don.

"In the village of Stefanodar in the Azovsky District, a window at the Kolokolchik kindergarten was damaged by a blast wave. Fortunately, none of the children or staff were injured," the regional governor reported. There were eight children in the kindergarten group at the time of the attack; their parents took them home, the official clarified.
