Stavropol authorities have reported on payments to owners of apartments damaged in a gas explosion.

Fifty-four people received over 2 million rubles in compensation for apartments damaged in the gas explosion in Stavropol last year. Another 3.3 million rubles were allocated to the owners of the seven most damaged apartments. Fifty-seven owners of damaged cars also received payments totaling 5.7 million rubles.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," a domestic gas explosion occurred on May 21 in an apartment building at 30/8 Tukhachevsky Street in Stavropol. Three people were injured, including a child. Owners of damaged apartments and cars were promised compensation. As of early June, 44 people had received compensation totaling 1.42 million rubles. .

Stavropol authorities reported on compensation payments to residents whose property was damaged in the explosion in a high-rise building last May. One hundred people, living in 56 apartments, applied for social support, but it turned out that 46 of them lacked the legal basis to receive payments. The 54 people ultimately received payments totaling just over two million rubles, Bloknot-Stavropol reported on January 11.

Furthermore, the Stavropol City Duma decided to allocate 3.3 million rubles to the owners of seven apartments damaged by the explosion for repairs. The amounts depend on the extent of the damage. For example, two apartments were virtually destroyed, and their owners received 982,000 rubles and 627,000 rubles, respectively.

Payments were also made to the owners of cars damaged in the explosion. Sixty-two people applied for assistance, but five were denied. The remaining people received a total of 5.7 million rubles to repair their damaged vehicles. This concludes the payment of compensation.
