A ban on heavy-duty vehicles has been imposed on the Georgian Military Highway. Telegram users have complained about traffic jams near the Verkhniy Lars checkpoint on the Russian side.

Starting on the evening of December 28, restrictions were imposed on heavy-duty vehicles traveling along the Georgian Military Highway from Vladikavkaz to the town of Lars, heading out of the Russian Federation.

According to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for North Ossetia, the restrictions were imposed due to bad weather in Georgia.
