Thirteen fighters from the Volgograd region were killed in Ukraine.

Authorities of the Sredneakhtubinsky district presented awards to the relatives of servicemen killed in the military operation. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 1,591 soldiers from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed in it.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by December 17, at least 1,578 soldiers from the Volgograd region were officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

In the Sredneakhtubinsky district, a ceremony was held to present state awards to the families of servicemen killed in the military operation, the head of the district, Nikolai Patrin, reported on his Telegram channel on December 19.

The publication names Junior Sergeant Vladimir Makulov, Seaman Vitaly Pytayev, Corporals Alexei Zhuplov and Alexander Smotrov, Privates Alexander Koltsov, Vasily Bogatyrev, Maxim Khavansky, Andrei Leyman, Dmitry Svinin, Alexander Shestopalov, Alexey Kuzmin, Igor Zubrilin, and Nikolay Galkin.

Thus, at least 1,591 soldiers from the Volgograd region have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

"Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and the Southern Federal District, killed in the military operation.
