Three National Guard officers have been arrested in North Ossetia in connection with a bribery case.

The number of security officials arrested in North Ossetia in connection with a bribery case has risen to 10, with three more under house arrest.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," three agency employees were arrested on October 24: Alan Dzobaev, commander of the Irbis special forces unit, and Jamaldin Magomedov and A. Nikogosov, specialists in the combat and logistics support department of the Nart special forces unit.

The Leninsky District Court of Vladikavkaz remanded three more Rosgvardia employees in custody for one month and five days, until November 28: H. Zaseev, duty officer of the Rosgvardia operational department for North Ossetia, T. Tsallagov, a police officer of the special forces unit, and G. Arunov, an operative of the SOBR "Nart" operational unit, was arrested, the publication "Osnova" reported, citing the press service of the Supreme Court of North Ossetia.

The petition for arrest was received from the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. The security officials are charged under Article 291 of the Russian Criminal Code (bribery).

With today's arrests, 10 Rosgvardia officers are in pretrial detention, including Valery Golota, the head of the department, and his deputy. Three more security officials are under house arrest, TASS reports.
