Date of legal proceedings at suit of Main Department of Ministry of Justice for Krasnodar territory against Fund "School of Peace" has been set

On August 11 a conversation between Judge Reutt N. F. and the executive director of the Fund "School of Peace" Karastilyov V. E., as well as his lawyer Mamzhiyev A. V., was held. Plaintiff's representatives did not appear. A new date of the sitting of the Primorsk District Court of Novorossiysk was set - August 22.

Formally a suit of justice against the public organization was caused by the fact that in 1999-2000 two of three founders had left the fund. A required notification was made about it as early as 2000. However, there are good causes to believe the true reason for bringing a suit was an active work of fund's staff on the observance of human right in the Krasnodar region, especially on giving information about discrimination of Turks-Meskhetians to the UN, the Council of Europe, as well as the US, Great Britain, and Switzerland.
