As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by September 24, government and security officials had officially recognized at least 1,575 soldiers from Dagestan as killed in the military operation.

Kaspiysk authorities have named another soldier killed in Ukraine, reporting the presentation of a posthumous award to his family. Sergeant Marat Suleimanov was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, the Kaspiysk administration announced on its Telegram channel on September 24.

Video footage posted by the Kaspiysk administration shows the moment the order was presented to Suleimanov's family. The statement does not provide any details about the soldier's biography.

Thus, at least 1,576 soldiers from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed in the war zone in Ukraine. The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation.
