A fighter from Dagestan was killed in the SVO zone.

Akhmed Gadzhiev from Gumbet was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have officially acknowledged at least 1,575 Dagestani servicemen killed there.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot," by September 23, government and security officials had officially acknowledged at least 1,574 Dagestani soldiers killed in the military operation.

"The mother of deceased SVO participant Akhmed Gadzhiev, Patimat Biyakayeva, a native of the village of Argvani in the Gumbetovsky District, was awarded the Order of Courage. The award was presented by Arsen Magomedov, Military Commissar of the Kazbekovsky and Gumbetovsky Districts. The soldier's brother, Kamil Gadzhiev, also participated in the award ceremony," the head of the Gumbetovsky District reported on his Telegram channel. No further details about the soldier's biography were provided.

Thus, at least 1,575 soldiers from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed in the war zone in Ukraine.
