Rostov-on-Don City Duma candidate reports violations

A participant of the SVO, the candidate from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Roman Grekhovodov reported interference in the work of observers and signs of falsifications at a polling station in Rostov-on-Don and filed a statement to the police about violations.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, municipal elections are taking place in the south of Russia from September 12 to 14, in Rostov Oblast and Krasnodar Krai voting is taking place in parallel with the gubernatorial elections. Candidates and parties reported ballot stuffing and falsifications during home voting. At a polling station in Novocherkassk, representatives of an electoral association were inflicted bodily injuries, the police are conducting an investigation.

Candidate for deputy of the city Duma Roman Grekhovodov reported about violations at polling station 1819 in the Leninsky district of Rostov-on-Don, which is located in a school building. "On September 13, 2025, after the second day of voting, they did not allow us to get acquainted with the books with the lists of voters and the acts. The observers were simply put out on the street, as this was decided by the director of this school, who managed the work of the commission, in fact, was an ordinary observer, grossly exceeding her authority," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

"On September 14, it was discovered that the tape with which this safe was sealed on the evening of September 13 was re-glued to the safe where the safe packages with used ballots and the above-mentioned books were stored, which is photographic evidence and a statement was written to OP-4.

According to him, the school principal tried to prevent him from recording a video from the polling station, as a result of which a police officer first demanded that he leave the polling station.

The video from the polling station was published on the Telegram channel CPRF.Don, where Grekhovodov’s statement to the police about violations at the polling station was also posted.
