Member of the Electoral Commission in Krasnodar Complains of Beating

A police report has been filed regarding the beating of an election commission member at polling station #21-40 in Krasnodar. Ambulance doctors recorded a facial injury on the woman.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, gubernatorial and municipal elections are being held in Krasnodar Krai from September 12 to 14. On the first day of voting, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation recorded violations at polling stations in Krasnodar concerning the work of observers and the rules for organizing mobile voting. An observer at polling station #1039 in Goryachy Klyuch stated that a representative of the administration tried to remain at the polling station after the candidates and observers had left in order to "work with documents." The police were called to the station.

On the evening of September 12, in the Karasunsky district of Krasnodar, a member of the precinct election commission from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation was beaten, reported candidate for deputy Anton Perervenko.

According to him, "traces of assault" were recorded, and a corresponding report was drawn up by the police officer who arrived, according to a publication posted today, September 13, on the website of the Kuban branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.

The publication is illustrated with a medical document with the seal of the regional emergency hospital. The document is dated 22.20 (Moscow time) on September 12, the patient's name on the published photocopy is retouched. The "diagnosis" column indicates "abrasion of the right brow ridge."

The party branch also published a partially retouched photocopy of the report of the crime. The document states that the incident occurred on the territory of the polling station, and the victim is a woman. She told the police officer that she was humiliated by members of the commission, and then "assaulted" and "threats of official reprisal" were made against her.

The video message from candidate Perervenko was published in his Telegram channel by gubernatorial candidate Alexander Safronov. "This is how elections are going in Krasnodar. They attacked and beat up our commission member. I agree with my friend Anton - we will not leave this like this," he wrote.

In the video, recorded in selfie format, Anton Perervenko explained that he is registered as a candidate for deputy of the Krasnodar City Duma. "I am currently near precinct 21-40. An attack was committed here on my member of the commission with the right to vote. They called a patrol, wrote a statement, and are waiting for an ambulance. I can guarantee that we will not leave this like this, we will contact the prosecutor's office and the Investigative Committee," he said.
