Unmanned boat destroyed in Black Sea waters

The Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of an unmanned boat in the Black Sea, sent from Ukraine. The statement was made against the backdrop of the cancellation of the threat of an attack near the coastline in Novorossiysk.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, today from midnight to 05:00 Moscow time 11 aircraft-type drones were destroyed and intercepted in Krasnodar Krai and two in Rostov Oblast, the Ministry of Defense reported. Another 15 drones were destroyed over the Black Sea.

An unmanned boat was destroyed in the Black Sea, the Ministry of Defense reported. "At about 07:10 Moscow time, the Black Sea Fleet destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned boat," reads a publication posted at 08:59 Moscow time on the department's Telegram channel.

The department did not specify where exactly the boat was destroyed. Earlier, at 06:22 Moscow time, the head of Novorossiysk reported on his Telegram channel about an attack by unmanned boats. "A siren is sounding along the coastline in Novorossiysk - the signal "Attention everyone." An attack by unmanned boats is being repelled," the publication says.

The Kuban operational headquarters limited itself to reposting the message of the head of Novorossiysk in its Telegram channel, without supplementing it with other details, and then reposted the publication of the Ministry of Defense.

The head of the city announced the cancellation of the threat of attack at 08:54 Moscow time. "The threat of a drone attack has been cancelled. There is no danger to residents and guests of Novorossiysk!" the official wrote, thanking the military for "perfectly fulfilling their tasks."

As of 09.55 Moscow time, not a single comment has been posted under the mayor's publications.

Recall that last night, during a drone attack in the Matveyevo-Kurgan district of the Rostov region, the windows and door of a boarding school were damaged. Two employees were slightly injured and taken to the district hospital. 73 students and five employees were evacuated from the building.

Also tonight, restrictions were imposed on the arrival and departure of aircraft at the Sochi airport. In the morning, the restrictions were lifted.
