Restrictions lifted at Sochi airport

The Sochi airport has resumed the reception and departure of aircraft, suspended for flight safety.

As "Caucasian Knot" wrote, restrictions on the reception and departure of aircraft at the Sochi airport were introduced last night "to ensure flight safety," said Rosaviatsia press secretary Artem Korenyako.

Restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft at the Sochi airport have been lifted, Artem Korenyako reported in his Telegram channel at 05.25 Moscow time.

"The restrictions were introduced to ensure flight safety. During the period of restrictions on "four aircraft left" alternate airfields," he wrote.

Recall that on the night of September 9, in the Adler district of Sochi, a car driver was killed as a result of a drone attack. Seven private houses and several cars were also damaged. The authorities promised payment to the family of the deceased and assistance to the victims.

On August 3, a woman received shrapnel wounds as a result of a drone attack in the Adler district, near a garage cooperative on Aviatsionnaya Street and an oil depot.

In July, the area of the garage cooperative on Aviatsionnaya Street also became the epicenter of an incident with a drone. On the night of July 24, two women died there, and 11 more people were injured. After the incident, the tenants of the garages complained that they did not receive compensation for the lost property. Sochi residents explained that these garages are suitable for housing, and people live there.
