The elderly residents of Tyrnyauz began repairing the pedestrian bridge across the river, and the mayor's office limited itself to praise and a promise to install lighting on the bridge. The authors of comments in Telegram suggested that the repair of the city infrastructure should be provided by the authorities.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, in 2023 only after complaints from local residents, the authorities repaired the suspension pedestrian bridge in Nartan, partially destroyed by the flood.

The city administration reported on the initiative of the residents of Tyrnyauz on September 6 in its Telegram channel.

The publication is illustrated with photographs and videos showing elderly men bringing building materials to the pedestrian bridge across the river and laying boards on the bridge path. The men step over the areas not covered with boards without using safety equipment.

The head of Tyrnyauz Azamat Afashokov explained to the telegram channel "Sapa Kavkaz" that this bridge, like several others, is not on the balance sheet of the department responsible for the repair of structures.
