A queue of cars formed in front of the Crimean Bridge

Drivers of 71 cars are waiting in Krasnodar Krai to cross the bridge across the Kerch Strait, another 273 cars are in line on the Crimean side.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, on August 24, traffic on the Crimean Bridge was stopped due to the threat of a missile threat in Krasnodar Krai. After the threat was lifted, traffic was resumed.

There are 71 cars in line to the Crimean Bridge from the Taman side, the Information Center for Roads to the Crimean Bridge reports on its Telegram channel. "There are 273 vehicles in line for manual inspection from the Kerch side. The waiting time is about an hour," the publication says.

According to hourly reports, from 19:00 Moscow time on September 5 to 07:00 Moscow time on September 6, there were no lines in front of the bridge, then a line of 36 cars formed in the Krasnodar Territory and 156 cars in Crimea.

A traffic jam formed in front of the scanner at the inspection point from the Kuban side, and the line of cars for manual inspection is small, users of the Crimean Bridge Chat Telegram chat reported today.

"We arrived from Taman at 6:35, and passed manual inspection at 6:54," the publication wrote, in particular, Elena Akhmadysheva. "We've been standing on the bus to Crimea since 2 a.m.," complained Allochka Mazyar at 08:03 Moscow time.

"Please enlighten me, why is someone waiting so long, while someone else is quicker to get through a manual inspection?" asked Juli Mih. "Because the manual one is faster. Take less junk with you, pack it like a human being and you are welcome," Alexey replied.

"To be honest, we didn't understand where the scanner was and where the manual one was. There were 5 lines. We were told to stand in any one. Apparently, only after you drive up for inspection will it become clear how you will be inspected," Antonina complained.  "From the Taman side, it's crystal clear. The left lane, where there is a huge traffic jam and a bunch of minibuses, is the scanner. It's even signed there," Natalia wrote in response.

Recall that on August 18, security forces discovered an explosive device in a car that arrived from Georgia. According to the FSB, the car was supposed to go to the Krasnodar region, it was planned to use it to blow up the Crimean Bridge.

On October 8, 2022, an explosion occurred on the Crimean Bridge, two spans collapsed. Traffic on the bridge was resumed a month later. Vladimir Putin called the incident a terrorist attack, and the FSB stated that the organizer of the terrorist attack was the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Human rights activists recognized all eight defendants in the case of the explosion of the Crimean Bridge as political prisoners. According to human rights activists, all of them are random people, and the real organizers and perpetrators are inaccessible to Russian security forces.
