A fighter from the Astrakhan region was killed in Ukraine

Azamat Dzhumagaliyev was killed in combat in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 607 fighters from the Astrakhan region have been recognized as killed in it.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, by September 3, at least 606 fighters from the Astrakhan region were officially recognized as killed in the military operation.

Azamat Dzhumagaliyev, born in 1986, was killed in the military operation, the administration of the Volodarsky district reported on its Telegram channel.

"In 2014, he signed a contract with the Russian National Guard, and in 2017 he extended it. Since the beginning of the special military operation, Azamat, without hesitation, went to the combat zone. […] On June 11, 2025, Azamat Dzhumagaliyev died," the publication says.

Thus, the at least 607 fighters from the Astrakhan region were killed in the military operation. The "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts killed in the military operation.
