Parents are outraged by the closure of one of the kindergartens in the center of Vladikavkaz

On the eve of the new school year, parents of pupils of a kindergarten in Vladikavkaz were asked to transfer their children to other preschool institutions, citing the emergency condition of the building.

On September 1, a video of parents and pupils of one of the kindergartens in Vladikavkaz was published in the Telegram channel "Ossetian News", which has more than 34 thousand subscribers.

"We, the parents of pupils of kindergarten No. 38, located at 12 Gibizova Street in Vladikavkaz, appeal to local government bodies and caring people to preserve our kindergarten. The kindergarten that our children attend with great pleasure and joy... A kindergarten with a wonderful teaching staff, competent, attentive and loving teachers. Instead of starting the school year, we are offered to go to other preschool institutions, justifying this by the fact that our kindergarten is in an emergency condition. At the same time, there is no act of inspection of the emergency. We have not been provided with any documents confirming the closure and the emergency status," the parents report in the video.

"We found information that in 2021, an inspection was carried out by Rospotrebnadzor. During the inspection, discrepancies were found in the number of sandboxes and shaded areas. In addition, violations concerned the location of the boiler room. The inspection data is available on the Internet. In March 2024, the repairs were completed. Currently, according to a representative of the city education, our kindergarten is recognized as emergency. That is, in 2024 it was not yet emergency, but in 2025 it became so. The conclusion suggests itself: maybe someone needs a historical place in the very center of the city? ", - the outraged residents emphasized.

"We appeal to the head of the republic, Sergei Ivanovich Menyailo, to the head of the local government administration Mildzikhov Vyacheslav Elbrusovich, the Minister of Education Alibekova Ella Mairbekovna: do not let them destroy our kindergarten, do not let them believe that in our wonderful republic there is a pursuit of profit and such an institution for children's development can be closed," - the parents said in the video.

Earlier, "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote that the authorities of North Ossetia announced plans to build a satellite city of Vladikavkaz called "Dolina Simd". Initially, it was planned to be built in the village of Nogir, but then moved to the village of Gizel. Activists believe that before building a satellite city, Vladikavkaz needs to be put in order.
