More than 50 drones shot down overnight in southern Russia

Last night, 86 unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted by air defense forces over Russian regions. Of these, 24 drones were shot down over the territory of the Southern Federal District and another 30 over the Black Sea.

As "Caucasian Knot" reported, a drone fragment falling on the Krasnodar Oil Refinerycaused a fire over an area of about 300 square meters. When the drone fragments fell in neighboring Adygeaa local resident was injured, and several private houses were damaged. In Rostov Oblast, UAVs were neutralized in five districts.

In total, during the past night from 9:00 p.m. Moscow time on August 29 to 7:00 a.m. Moscow time on August 30, air defense systems on duty intercepted 86 unmanned aerial vehicles of the aircraft type, the Russian Defense Ministry reported in the morning on its Telegram channel.

According to the department, 13 drones were destroyed in Rostov Oblast, 11 - over the territory of Krasnodar Krai, 30 - over the Black Sea. UAVs were also shot down in Crimea, Bryansk, Belgorod, Smolensk, Kaluga, Tver, Tula and Kursk regions.

Recall that on August 29, nine drones were shot down overnight over the Black Sea.
