A soldier from the Volgograd region was killed in Ukraine

Alexander Chernyshov from Zhirnovsky District was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, the authorities have publicly named at least 1,311 combatants from the Volgograd Region killed there.

The name of another soldier killed in Ukraine was named today by the administration of the Zhirnovsky District, announcing his funeral. Alexander Chernyshov will be buried in Zhirnovsk on August 31.

Chernyshov "served as a squad commander", at the time of his death he was 45 years old, according to a publication on the official Telegram channel of the municipality.
