"Due to heavy smoke, 23 vacationers on the Black Sea coast in the area of the forest fire were cut off from evacuation routes. They are being transported to a safe place on a boat of the State Inspectorate for Small Vessels of the Russian Emergencies Ministry," the department reported on its Telegram channel.

Due to the smoke and the possibility of the fire spreading, a decision was made to evacuate the nearest recreation center. A temporary stay center has been opened at the rural school, Gelendzhik Mayor Alexey Bogodistov reported. "There is no damage or casualties," he said.

The head of the city noted that 20 units of equipment and about 100 personnel are involved in extinguishing the fire, an Emergencies Ministry helicopter is also involved, but a crosswind is interfering with its work.

The fire after the nighttime UAV attack at the Afipsky Oil Refinery was completely extinguished at 8:20 Moscow time. 63 people and 26 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire, the Krasnodar Territory operational headquarters reported on its Telegram channel.
