Over 200 cars are stuck in traffic jams in front of the Crimean Bridge

Traffic jams formed on both sides of the bridge across the Kerch Strait this morning. Drivers and passengers of 219 cars are waiting for permission to cross the Crimean Bridge.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, on the morning of August 11, 1,290 cars were waiting to cross the Crimean Bridge from Taman , and 330 cars from Kerch.

According to the information center for automobile roads about the situation on the automobile approaches to the Crimean Bridge as of 7:00 Moscow time, 163 vehicles were in line for manual inspection from the Taman side.

"There are 56 vehicles in line for manual inspection from the Kerch side," the center's Telegram channel reported.

Recall that on July 17, 2023, the Crimean Bridge was attacked by Ukrainian drones, one span was destroyed, another was damaged. Traffic on the bridge was restored only on November 1 of the same year.

On October 8, 2022, an explosion occurred on the Crimean Bridge, two spans collapsed. Vladimir Putin called the incident a terrorist attack, the FSB said that the organizer of the terrorist attack was the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The traffic on the bridge was resumed a month later.
