Mobilized from Kabardino-Balkaria killed in combat
Yevgeny Kadunov was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, at least 283 fighters from Kabardino-Balkaria have been officially recognized as killed.
As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, by August 10, the authorities and security forces recognized at least 282 fighters from Kabardino-Balkaria as killed.
Yevgeny Kadunov was killed in a military operation in Ukraine, the branch of the state fund "Defenders of the Fatherland" in Kabardino-Balkaria reported. Yevgeny was born in 1988 in the city of Maysky, received secondary and then secondary technical education. He did his military service in the Transbaikal Military District, was a mechanic - driver of an infantry fighting vehicle. After completing his service, Yevgeny returned to his civilian profession as a gas and electric welder and worked in Siberia, on the Yamal Peninsula, and in the southern regions of the country. In October 2022, he was called up for service, where he was a grenade launcher in a separate reconnaissance battalion. He was killed during a drone attack near the village of Krynki in the Kherson region on March 22, 2024. He was awarded the medals "For Courage", "For Bravery" and posthumously the Order of Courage, according to a message on the foundation's Telegram channel on August 15.
Thus, at least 283 fighters from Kabardino-Balkaria are officially recognized as killed in Ukraine. "Caucasian Knot" knows the names of 270 of them, the death of another 13 became known from the report of the republic's authorities on payments to the families of those killed in 2022.
"Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and the Southern Federal District killed in the military operation. The list was compiled based on data officially announced by government officials and law enforcement agencies, according to the Caucasian Knot report "NVO statistics: losses are growing for the south of Russia".
