The head of the Prigorodny district administration became a defendant in a case of abuse of power

A criminal case has been opened in North Ossetia regarding the illegal transfer of a land plot to a farm and its subsequent sale to Rosavtodor for 160 million rubles. The suspect in the case is the head of the district administration.

According to the Federal Security Service of Russia for North Ossetia, the head of the district administration is involved in abuse of office during the implementation of the state program "Development of the Transport System".

In particular, using his official position, he issued a permit to a collective farm to build a capital construction project on lands classified as agricultural lands where construction is prohibited, TASS wrote on August 15.

Representatives of the peasant farm, in turn, registered the said land plot as their property and sold it to the Federal State Institution "Kavkaz" Federal Road Administration for the construction of a federal highway at an inflated price of more than 160 million rubles.

A criminal case has been opened against the head of the district administration under Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (abuse of office).

On the official website of the Prigorodny municipal district North Ossetia indicates that from 2008 to the present, the head of the local government administration of the Prigorodny municipal district is Ruslan Yesiev. The "Caucasian Knot" does not yet have his comments regarding the criminal case.

Earlier, "Caucasian Knot" wrote that in 2024, security forces detained the Minister of Labor and Social Development of North Ossetia Alina Aidarova and several employees of the ministry. The next day, the court reported that Aidarova was arrested for a month, until October 11. However, by September 28, she was released from custody under house arrest. In January, her case was transferred to court.
