Drones Attacked Two Districts of Rostov Region

Air defense forces repelled an air attack by drones in the Millerovsky and Chertkovsky districts of the Rostov region.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, late in the evening of August 8, due to a drone attack, an explosion and fire occurred at the level of the 18th floor in a 20-story apartment building in the Levoberezhny microdistrict in Rostov-on-Don. On the same day, after a drone attack in the Millerovo district of the Rostov region, a fuel tank caught fire.

Acting Governor of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel at 5:51 a.m. Moscow time that air defense forces repelled an air attack in the Millerovo and Chertkovsky districts tonight.

"In Millerovo, windows were broken in several private houses, and a fence was damaged," he noted. "The main thing is that no one was hurt."

Recall that in the neighboring Krasnodar region on August 9, a woman from Slavyansk-on-Kuban was injured in a drone attack; she refused hospitalization. It was later reported that the total number of victims had increased to four. In Krasnoarmeysky, Slavyansky, Krymsky, Seversky districts, private houses were damaged.
