Dagestani soldier killed in Ukraine

Ravin Gadzhibalayev from the Khiva district was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, the authorities have officially named at least 1,493 fighters from Dagestan killed there.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, by August 7, officials and security forces publicly admitted that at least 7,150 servicemen from the south of Russia were killed in the war zone in Ukraine, including 1,492 from Dagestan.

Ravin Gadzhibalayev, a participant in the combat operations in Ukraine, was buried today in the Khiva district of Dagestan. A native of the village of Mezhgyul, he was killed on April 11, the district administration reported.

“Ravin Gadzhibalayev went to the special military operation zone as a volunteer,” the official Telegram channel of the municipality said. No other biographical information about the killed person was provided.

Thus, officials publicly acknowledged that at least 1,493 servicemen from Dagestan were killed on the Ukrainian front.
