Adam Kadyrov Becomes Curator of Aid to Palestine

Three Chechen charitable foundations - "Khayra", "Daimohk" and "Ayub" - will collect funds to provide assistance to the residents of Palestine. The 17-year-old son of the head of Chechnya, Adam Kadyrov, has become the curator of the assistance.

The heads of the foundations assured that all funds already collected are completely safe in the organizations' accounts. After establishing proven channels for transferring aid to the Gaza Strip, the donated money will be used for its intended purpose. Against the backdrop of the suspension of private initiatives in Chechnya to collect aid for the Gaza Strip, a Palestinian national-cultural autonomy could accumulate funds, analysts have suggested.

The decision to resume collecting donations that will be sent to residents of the Gaza Strip in the form of food, medicine and other necessary goods was made at a working meeting on the coordination of humanitarian aid to residents of Palestine, which was held by the director of the Department for Interaction with Religious and Public Organizations of the Administration of the Head and Government of Chechnya Aslan Abdullayev, the Chechnya Today agency reported.

The Secretary of the Security Council of Chechnya Adam Kadyrov has been appointed curator of the humanitarian aid from the Chechen Republic. The organization of delivery and control over the process will be carried out by the adviser to the head of Chechnya Usman Baysultanov. The Khaira, Daimokhk and Ayub charitable foundations will raise funds, according to today's announcement.
