Power supply to Ilovlinsky district restored

Power supply to the Ilovlinsky district, interrupted due to an accident following a drone attack, has been restored.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, air defense forces last night repelled an attack by drones on transport and energy facilities in the Volgograd region. Four commuter trains were cancelled, three long-distance passenger trains were delayed due to falling drone debris at the Archeda station in the Volgograd region. The head of the region reported that in the Ilovlinsky district, as a result of falling debris, a high-voltage wire was cut and the power supply was disrupted.

The power supply to consumers in the Ilovlya workers' settlement and neighboring settlements, which was disrupted during the night attack by drones, has been restored, the municipal administration reported in the afternoon.

"The power supply to the Ilovlya settlement and the entire Ilovlinsky District has been fully restored. The water supply to residents of the district settlement and neighboring settlements has been resumed," the official Telegram channel of the Ilovlinsky District administration said.

The press service of the Volga Railway, in turn, reported that train traffic, interrupted after the fall of drone debris at the Archeda station in the city of Frolovo near Volgograd, had been restored.

Passenger trains No. 2 Moscow - Volgograd, No. 89 Volgograd - St. Petersburg, No. 531 Adler - Kirov, as well as suburban train No. 6818 Aleksikovo - Archeda were delayed for more than five hours, Interfax-Yug reports.
