65 drones shot down in two regions of the Southern Federal District

The military destroyed 34 drones launched from Ukraine in the Rostov region at night. Another 31 drones were shot down in the Krasnodar region.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Belaya Kalitva and five districts of the Rostov region were attacked by drones last night. In the Krasnosulinsky district, as a result of the attack, a fire broke out at an enterprise, a security guard was killed.

From 20:00 Moscow time on August 1 to 04:40 Moscow time, 112 Ukrainian drones were destroyed and intercepted, including 34 in the Rostov region and 31 in the Krasnodar region, the Ministry of Defense reported on its Telegram channel.

According to the publication, another 11 drones were shot down over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas. The remaining drones were destroyed in the Voronezh, Ryazan, Samara, Penza, Belgorod, Lipetsk regions and in Crimea.

The Kuban operational headquarters did not report any new attacks on its Telegram channel, limiting itself to reposting the Defense Ministry's publication.

Recall that on the night of August 1, Taganrog, Novoshakhtinsk, as well as Myasnikovsky, Rodionovo-Nesvetaysky, Neklinovsky and Tarasovsky districts of the Rostov region were attacked by drones. As a result of the attack, the houses of Novoshakhtinsk residents and villagers in the Neklinovsky district were damaged. The authorities promised to help the victims restore their property. According to the military, 12 drones were shot down in the region.

On July 29, a driver of a car was killed in a drone attack in Salsk, and two sappers were killed while demining the drone. That day, 11 private houses and 10 apartment buildings were damaged as a result of the drone attack.

On July 26, Kamensk-Shakhtinsky and six districts of the Rostov Region were attacked by drones. In the Zimovnikovsky District, a car burned down near the highway as a result of the attack, and two residents of Kalmykia were killed.
