The militants killed in the course of secret operation in Makhachkala identified in Dagestan

The Dagestan MIA has cited the names of seven militants killed in the course of a secret operation conducted today in Makhachkala.

According to the information of Dagestan MIA press-service, the following militants are among those killed in the course of the secret operation conducted today in Makhachkala at 54, Tankayeva Street:

Khizri Mamayev, leader of the "Buinak group", as well as the following members of the group: Askhar Abakarov, his wife Salamat Israpilova, Dinara Daidiyeva, Ruslan Avlakov, Imamurza Amirbekov and Kurbanov Mekhti Elkhan-ogly.

According to the information of Dagestan MIA press-service, Salamat Israpilova killed lieutenant colonel Rasulov, deputy chief of staff at the Buinak town militia unit (GOVD).

According to Viacheslav Shanshin, chief of FSB in Dagestan, "the secret operation started immediately after four women and two children were taken out of the building. However, one woman was killed when she tried to escape from the house, holding a machine gun."

A group of militants tried to escape but was blocked and annihilated in the neighboring street. The bodies of the remaining militants are in the house basement.

"We think that the operation will be completed by the end of the day. The main thing is that there are no casualties or wounded among the spetznaz officers and civilians, so far," says Viacheslav Shanshin.

According to the Minister, members of the group were involved in the shooting at the pack of automobiles of the RF Ministry of Defense and in the explosion of six employees from the extradepartmental security unit of the Kizil-Urt town militia unit (GOVD).
