Krasnodar journalist Alipat Sultanbegova ordered not to leave

The investigator has chosen the recognizance not to leave as the freedom restraint measure for Alipat Sultanbegova, a Krasnodar journalist, who is a figurant in a criminal case on discrediting the Russian Army, although she had already managed to leave Russia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Alipat Sultanbegova left Russia in May this year, after she received a notification that a criminal case had been opened against her for discrediting Russian militaries.

In April, law enforcers detained Sultanbegova twice. The reason for drawing up a protocol against her under the article on discrediting Russian militaries was in her post on the Instagram*, where she placed photos of a girl with a pacifist drawing in her hands, the "Sota.Vision" outlet has reported.

Alipat Sultanbegova signed recognizance not to leave the place, the human rights project "OVD-Info"** reports in its Telegram channel, citing Alexei Avanesyan, an advocate.

Now, Alipat Sultanbegova lives in Armenia.

Let us remind you that on May 30, it became known that law enforcers conducted searches at the three residents of Krasnodar who had communicated with Alipat Sultanbegova. According to Alipat, all the three were made witnesses in her criminal case.
