Wife of mobilized Kuban resident reports loss of his documents by military office

After returning from the special military operation zone, Alexei Abramov, a resident of Krasnodar, who was mobilized although he had got spinal injuries, was sent to Dagestan to undergo a medical examination. The military office lost documents about the Alexei Abramov’s illnesses, his wife said.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on January 9, it became known that 38-year-old Alexei Abramov returned to the Krasnodar Territory. He has returned entirely due to the efforts of his wife Kseniya, advocate Mikhail Benyash* reported.

While being in the zone of the special military operation, Alexei Abramov could not walk and wear a bulletproof vest because of the serious illness of his spine and pain, Kseniya Abramova reported in November. On December 15, the court dismissed Alexei Abramov’s claim for the decision to mobilize him.

On January 12, Alexei Abramov wrote to his wife that the folder with his medical documents, which she had collected, was lost after his arrival at the military unit in Buynaksk. Among the lost documents was the original description and conclusion of the MRI of his spinal column, which is a key evidence of the dangerous diagnosis of Alexei Abramov.

According to Alexei Abramov’s wife, the loss of the documents may delay the medical examination, because it takes time to restore some documents.

If the medical commission recognizes a citizen unfit for service after he has been mobilized, he has the opportunity to defend his interests in the courts, reports advocate Felix Vertegel. Furthermore, according to the advocate, it is possible to “institute a criminal case on negligence against an official.”
