Patients of oncology hospital in KBR demand to dismiss chief physician

At the Nalchik oncology dispensary, patients are not receiving the proper treatment; they are prescribed low-quality drugs, which is why they have to go to other cities for treatment. This was stated in patients' appeal to President Vladimir Putin. They demanded to dismiss the chief physician and provide cancer patients with due medical care.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 18, 2021, a group of cancer patients recorded a video appeal to Kazbek Kokov, the head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), in which they stated that since November 2021, they have to travel to Dagestan to receive their vital medicines.

A group of cancer patients have recorded another video appeal "We will all fly to Putin!" The KBR cancer patients demand to dismiss Tsikoridze, the chief physician of the oncology dispensary. "Almost ten months have passed since the meeting with Kazbek Kokov; however, despite the authorities' promises, nothing has changed," Aksana Kuchmenova, one of the patients of the dispensary, stated in the video posted on August 16 on the YouTube* channel entitled "Made in KBR".

She has stated that cancer patients fail to receive high-quality original drugs, which is why their treatment brings no results. Patients have confirmed that they have to travel to Moscow to be prescribed and receive the necessary and efficient medicines and to undergo examinations.

Patients have blamed the chief physician, Malkhaz Tsikoridze, for everything and demanded to fire him.

Cancer patients have stated that their appeal was addressed to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the head of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) Alexander Bastrykin and the head of the Ministry of Public Health Mikhail Murashko. The patients reported that they were ready to personally fly to Moscow in order to attract attention to their problems.
